What’s your running story?
I went through a divorce in 2004, and lived with a friend of mine for a few months. He encouraged me to start  running, at first I had no interest, but after going to a few races with him on Sat. mornings I was hooked. The runners were so friendly , welcoming  ,and having a good time. I also needed some form of exercise , and had time on my hands.

What piece of running gear or equipment can you not live without?
Good shoes.

What’s your favorite running distance?
5k

What is your favorite post race food/drink?
Donuts, Lol.

Favorite season to run in?
Spring

Tell us about your first 5k/ 10k/ half/ marathon (pick one):
My 1st. race was the Fifth Third River Bank Run 5K in 2004. It started pouring when the race started, and stopped as soon as the race was finished.  It was a blast.

Favorite places to run?
Spring Down by the big lake.

Did you run before joining Run Muskegon?
I believe it was 2013, I had been running for several years before that.

Best running advice?
Don't over do it when you are first starting to run, like I did.

What would you say to anyone looking to run with Run Muskegon?
It is a really great group, and a good time. Motivation to run on Wed. nights if the weather is really bad.
