Parking is available at the City lot east of The Brewer's Lounge. We encourage people to wear the colors purple and turquoise and to make a donation to Life Align Recovery Ranch for suicide prevention Use the donation link during registration. Route The 5K (3.1 mile) route is "out & back" on the Lakeshore Trail, heading north to Fisherman's Landing to the turn around where you will head back to the start. You don't need to complete the entire 5K. You can turn around at any time and head back to the starting area. Cross roads will be open to vehicle traffic. The path will also be open to the public during the event. There will not be an aid station on the route. You are welcome to bring your own water bottle.
Registration is 100% online leading all the way up to the of the event via Run Signup Event check-in and late registration is at 9:00 AM. We encourage everyone to register before August 31. After the walk, hang out at Pigeon Hill and celebrate Labor Day! Water and popsicles will be provided. Pigeon Hill will give $1 off your first beer.
Restrooms will be available at The Brewer's Lounge and at the turn around at Fisherman's Landing
Donations benefit Run Muskegon, a 501(c3) non-profit, whose mission is to encourage and help community members live a more active lifestyle. Run Muskegon hosts weekly group runs & walks which can be found here on the webiste or on Facebook.

We are a group of new and experienced runners, joggers, and walkers, looking to stay healthy, challenge ourselves, and find fellowship with others looking to get outside and have a good time doing it.
We meet every Wednesday at Pigeon Hill Brewing Company (895 4th Street, Downtown Muskegon). Announcements start at 6:20 pm, followed by a run/jog/walk at 6:30 pm. New runners please arrive by 6:15 pm to sign a waiver.

Run Muskegon encourages a healthy, active lifestyle for Muskegon County residents by supporting inclusive movement and strong relationships. We prioritize group activities and year-round wellness, with optional training pathways for 5Ks,10Ks, half and full marathons, triathlons, and more. Every pace has a place.
Run Muskegon Races
Run Muskegon hosts the Shamrock Shuffle 5k in March as well as the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, both in downtown Muskegon. All proceeds from these events are used to help make Muskegon a healthier and more active community.
